Hood Politics: Round IV

Hood Politics is back for the fourth season. The entire cast from season three has returned, and keeps the good times rolling with an all new season, set to begin airing in december.. Check out this teaser of season 4. Also, check out the new site, www.hood-politics.com

"The Network"...

So I have been so busy, I haven't had time to blog at all, which may not be a such a bad thing. However, its been a lot of fun, and I'm so proud that people are enjoying the show. It''s something i really enjoy doing, mainly because I have so much creative control and direction over the show.. Mainly because the raw nature of the show, requires a raw medium that I would never feel comfortable giving to another director. Therefore, the finished product, is a much more personal one, that I don't think I would otherwise be able to portray. through speech alone, less the production of film.

After long, and careful review, I have decided to give the green-light  for the next project, in association with Hustler Swagger TV. "The Network" will premiere later this year, shortly before the fall season. As part of the deal, Hood Politics will move into is new and improved studio, which will also be home to Good Morning Black America. The new daytime talk show, hosts still TBA..

Hood Politics: Expanding

Less than 3 wks until Hood Politics comes front stage, and its beginning to shape up. Over the next week, 3 confirmed interviews, as well as a private tour of one of the most recognized media platforms on earth. Of course, I can't say.. However, if you happen to know where I am currently at, I'm sure you could figure it out. It will be a nice kick-off to what is expected to be nothing short of ground-breaking in media.

 

In addition, Hood Politcs has just today, obtained sponsorship from Google, as well as Amazon, and another unnamed source. So please take the time to check out our sponsors. Help us pay the bills.. =)

 

Currently in talks with several other media hosts. Looking to expand the show to more than just one city. Currently looking in the following locations; Los Angeles,  Miami, New York, Austin, and New Orleans. If you think you have what it takes to join the team, send in an Audition Video to me at: [ vesswagger@gmail.com ] I will personally review all submissions, and will be in contact with hopeful candidates. Looking for fun, energetic, personalities, with strong opinions. Feel free to check out Hood Politics' earlier show on Youtube. [ Hustlerswaggertv ] In doing so, you will be able to get a feel for the show, as well as its comedic relief. Really looking forward cohering from you all.

 

There will be a new weekly column section that will be added to the official website, so those that have something to write about, this will be your chance to voice your view point.

 

Hood of the Week will continue on as a segment of the new Hood Politics.  We are having too much fun with that. Mardi Gras is coming, so New Orleans, watch out.. We will be in the center of the action, filming the experience, as well as the wild ride along the way..

 

Just a seek-peak of things to come. 2011, is going to be an explosive year for us all.

01/03/10 @4:30AM- It's Late, And I'm Up, Workin..

So here it is, 4:30 in the morning, and i'm still up getting things ready for the expansion of Hood Politics.  The growth of the show has been more than I was originally expecting. It started off as just something to do, but now has developed somewhat of an audience. And with that, comes a whole lot more responsibility, as well as commitment. I've recently purchased two new cameras, from Nikon, as well as better audio production equipment. Still in the process of cementing, a more permanent crew, as well as cast. Though I enjoy the show's current cast, some of us are on different levels, as well as paths, when it comes to our everyday life. With that in mind, I'm looking for more goal-oriented individuals. lol. So I will continue to search, until I find exactly what I am looking for. I've been thinking of an idea, but i will continue to work out the kinks, before i implement it, or even mention it. I have so much to do, but won't get it all done tonight.. So i think imma try to lay it down. lol..
